Black Moscow Guppy pair (1 Male, 1 Female US BRED) Black Moscow Guppies are prolific breeders and once your pair is established in its new aquarium you should expect regular spawning. Males are generally smaller in size with bright coloration and pronounced fins, females will be larger with duller coloration. Black Moscow guppies are usually larger in size and males are fully colored featuring a bright, shiny, metallic sheen. The Moscow guppies are a strain that was developed through selective breeding in Russia in the late 80’s for their beautiful color. you are looking for a great Guppy to work within your future Guppy breeding project, the Black Moscow Guppy pair may be just what you need. These guppies are born and raised in the USA and are very hearty and healthy.
Ideally, the environment for Black Moscow Guppy should have a covering of floating plants like have moss, riccia, or guppy grass “Naja grass” or a place to hide protect the fry. The fry should be fed fresh baby brine shrimp, micro food, and pulverized flakes. Guppies do well with a wide range of PH and temperature. I suggest 7+ PH and maintaining the temperature of at least 74f, but not exceeding 82f.
The Guppy is an omnivore and requires both algae-based foods as well as meaty foods. An algae-based flake food, along with freeze-dried blood worms, and brine shrimp will provide guppies with the proper nutrition. I feed a variety of commercial foods in my fish room.
